Scope and Contents: These are the organizational papers and records of the Urban Appalachian Council of Cincinnati, Ohio.  The dates of the documents span from 1930-2012 but predominantly fall between 1967 and 1994. The papers are divided into nine series and include documents concerning Appalachian migration to urban areas and the formation of the UAC, programming and membership records, annual reports, publications and records of the Frank Foster Library and Heritage Room, UAC Board of Trustees board meeting minutes and agendas,  materials of UAC directors, papers of UAC staff members, material of UAC committees,  materials concerning UAC related agencies, articles, reports and news clippings, on subjects of interest to the UAC mission and programming and about the UAC as well as photographs and audio-visual materials.
