Title: Berea Younger Woman's Club Collection

Arrangement
The collection is arranged in three series: Yearbooks, Meeting Minutes, and Scrapbooks.
Abstract
Organized and federated in 1948 by Mrs. Bernice Robbins and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jennings, the Younger Woman's Club of Berea was so named to designate it as the youngest of the three women’s clubs in Berea. Its founders and charter members recognized a need for women to share their talents and concerns, and to contribute to their community.
The Club is affiliated with the Kentucky Federation of Women's Clubs and the General (National) Federation of Women's Clubs with the purpose of working with community, state, national, and international concerns. The organization’s objective is to promote interest in civic and cultural affairs.
Today, the Club remains federated and strives to increase the quality of life in our community.
