Although not arranged in series, the collection is roughly arranged as follows: biographical materials, books and book reviews, correspondence, manuscripts, miscellaneous speeches and writings, and research notes on slavery.
Abstract
Elisabeth Sinclair Peck joined the Berea College faculty in 1912 and taught history until her retirement in 1953. Upon her retirement, she was appointed college historian by President Weatherford. She served in this role until her death in 1968. A prolific writer, Peck published numerous books on a range of topics—many involving the history and work of Berea College.
